Walking Down Water Street On Canada Day.

There's something that happens in Eastport leading up to the Fourth of July.  People take to the streets.  There's carnival food and sailors and down home fun and games.  Balloons and ice cream and BBQ's take very normal people and make them boisterous, giggly and full of celebratory prowess.  We get caught in the swing of talent shows, penny scrambles, pie eating contests, car shows, fireworks, beer and of course sailors.

Having good friends in town to help with the festivities makes it all the better, filling The Hopkins household with extra cheer.  Extra reasons to kick back and celebrate summer, America and simple fun.  Also strawberries.
